Ulf Wakenius

Guitarist Ulf Wakenius is probably best known for his partizipation in the world famous Oscar Peterson Quartet, with whom he toured the world and performed in the most famous festivals and concert halls around the globe. He was a member of that band from 1997 until Oscar Peterson´s death in 2007. Over the years Ulf recorded more than 10 albums under his own name amoung which Notes from My Heart from 2005 and Love is Real from 2008 have received the widest recognition amoung listeners in Europe and the World. On both albums he interprets the work of a world famous pianist, first Keith Jarrett, then Esbjörn Svensson. Most recently he collaborated with Youn Sun Nah on her latest album and tours.
