Lalo Schifrin started off his international career in the late 50's when Dizzy Gillespie hired him as pianist, arranger and composer for his band. Soon later he became one of Hollywood's most sought after composers for film music. Melodies like 'Mission: Impossible', 'Bullitt', 'Mannix' and others made him world famous. In the 80's he also gained a reputation as arranger for classical music. The Medleys by The 3 Tenors (Pavarotti, Domingo, Carreras) and arrangements for several "Christmas In Vienna" specials are among his best known works. Recently Schifrin started a series of albums and concerts to merge his experience in all fields of music named: "Jazz Meets The Symphony"
